In this itinerary you will explore the former capital Yangon (Rangoon), the British Colonial architecture and its environs, and exclusively with the most outstanding historic and cultural highlights such as the world largest and the most impressive Shwedagon Pagoda, Sule Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha. Wander through Bogyoke Aung San market and the surrounding street stalls. The next day, you take a trip to visit the rural town of Twante, where you experience the local lifestyle of the people and lastly travel across the Bago River (Pegu River) to explore the ancient town of Thanlyin.
 
   
Day 1 Yangon Day Tour
   
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by our local guide and transferred to your hotel to check in. In the afternoon, visit some of the well known pagodas, including Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, and enjoy a break at Bogyoke (Scott) market, a pleasant covered market containing crafts from all corners of Myanmar, gems, fabrics and more. You will make a photo stop at Royal Lake with the background of the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Finally visit sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, the finest of Yangon and perhaps the most stunning religious edifice in the world. As the sun sets, the reddish golden rays of Shwedagon reflect on everything around and turning into a magical arena.

Day 2 Yangon – Full Day City Tour
   
Breakfast at Hotel, in the afternoon, start an orientation tour of downtown Yangon. You will drive through Yangon busy roads and take a glimpse of the hustle downtown, Mahabandoola Park, Town Hall. See the magnificent colonial buildings of Victorian & Edwardian era architecture. This introductory drive will end with a stop near Sule pagoda - dating back over 2,000 years ago.

Afterward, visit Strand jetty to witness the daily life of the local people and Yangon River. Next, visit Botataung pagoda, named after the 1000 military leaders who escorted relics of the Buddha from India over 2000 years ago. Finally, visit Chinatown, located west of the city centre, still within the downtown area, where various stalls are set on the platform to later turn to the night market. There you can enjoy the bustling street markets; you can buy nearly everything and visit Kheng Hock Keong, the largest Chinese Temple in Yangon, which is over 100 years old.

Day 3 Day Excursion To Twante By Local Ferry And Car
   
After breakfast at hotel, you depart Yangon by a local ferry along the Yangon River to rural town of Twante. This trip will provide you an excellent opportunity to view the lifestyle of the people and countryside of this delta region. First you visit to the colourful local market and then , built just a few years younger than famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Afterwards, you visit a pottery factory to observe this very traditional craft. And next you visit Baungdawgyoke Pagoda (snake temple) and Phayagyi Mingalar Monastery which has an Orphanage School.

In the afternoon you return to Yangon by private car.

Day 4 Yangon – Thanlyin – Yangon (by Car And Boat)
   
After breakfast at the hotel, you start the day excursion across the Yangon River via Thanlyin Bridge to Thanlyin, a former Portuguese colony. This is an opportunity to experience the countryside around Yangon. You may explore the ruins of several of the 17th century Portuguese churches and monuments. Then you visit the busy local market in Thanlyin. Afterwards you drive to Kyauktan town ship and visit Yele Pagoda (floating Pagoda) a popular place for pilgrims.

Drive back to Yangon.

Day 5 Yangon – Departure
