In this itinerary you will enjoy the highlights of Myanmar on this incredible cultural journey, discover ancient temples and pagodas, observe wandering monks and be captivated by the most charming and hospitable Burmese people It begins in the charming former British colonial city of Yangon (Rangoon) which is the main commercial city of Myanmar. Then you will fly to Bagan (UNESCO World Heritage site), considered by many to be the finest collection of temples in Asia and savouring the sunrise from the upper terrace of the temple.

The adventure continues to Mandalay, the last royal capital, the culture centre and ancient capital of Amapura. You will finish the tour at the tranquil and picturesque Inle Lake of the leg rowers, with its bustling local markets, handicrafts, stilted villages and breathtaking views.
Day 1 Yangon Full Day City Tour
Upon arrival at Yangon international Airport you will be welcomed by our local guide and transferred to your hotel to check in or drop off your luggage.

The tour begins at the Maha Bandula Park, Independence monument and the surrounding colonial buildings of Victorian & Edwardian era architecture. Spend some time at Sule Pagoda. Next, you visit Botataung Pagoda, named after the 1000 military leaders who escorted relics of the Buddha from India over 2000 years ago.

After lunch, you visit some of the well known pagodas, including Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, and enjoy a break at Bogyoke (Scott) market, a pleasant covered market containing crafts from all corners of Myanmar. Then continue to Royal Lake with the background of the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Finally you visit Shwedagon Pagoda, the finest of Yangon and perhaps the most stunning religious edifice in the world. As the sun sets, the reddish golden rays of Shwedagon reflect on everything around and turning into a magical arena.

Day 2 Yangon – Bagan
After breakfast at hotel, you will transfer to airport for the flight to Bagan. Upon arrival you will check in and begin the tours at the colourful Nyaung U Market. Then visit Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa. Kyansittha Cave Temple, a lodging place for monks; Wetkyi-inn Village, Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century and Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration.

In the afternoon, you will visit Myinkaba Village and observe the process of making the traditional lacquer ware handicrafts.

Afterwards you will visit the 11th century Manuha Temple and Nanphaya Temple said to have been the residence of King Manuha and enjoy the magnificent of Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images, Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi color mural paintings. Finally enjoy the sunset over the site from the upper terrace of one of the Pagodas.

Day 3 Mandalay – Heho – Inle Lake (by Car, Flight And Boat)
After breakfast at hotel, you transfer to Mandalay Airport for a domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, you travel by car to Nyaung Shwe the gateway to Inle Lake, a freshwater lake in the heart of Shan Highlands. Then you transfer to your hotel by long tail private boat. After a brief refreshment stop, you start an excursion by boat on Inle Lake, admiring the famous leg-rowers, typical floating farms and gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. Finally visit Phaung Da U Pagoda which houses the five most revered Buddha Images in the southern Shan State, and the weaving village of Inpawkhon and Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery.

Day 4 Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon (by Boat, Car And Flight)
After breakfast at hotel, you will transfer to Heho Airport for a domestic flight to Yangon (08:55-10:55). Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer to hotel for check in. On the way you will stop at Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda and the adjoining Maha Pasana Guha Cave, where the Sixth Buddhist Council took place.

This afternoon, the guide and car will be at your disposal for further sightseeing or shopping. As a free and easy tour for today, you may visit Strand Jetty to witness the daily life of the local people on Yangon's River. Visit Chinatown located in the downtown area, and Kheng Hock Keong, the largest Chinese Temple in Yangon, which is over 100 years old.

After breakfast at hotel, you will transfer to Yangon International airport for your return international departure flight.
